Who are we?
A group of scriptwriters with differing interests and experience offering support and feedback to each other. We meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month, read each other’s work and provide constructive feedback. All scriptwriters welcome, whether focused on stage, screen or radio and whether a novice or experienced.
Activities
Apart from the monthly meetings our members have worked together to produce short films, have entered plays for Leatherhead Drama Festival and other NDFA festivals, winning a number of awards, have had productions at various Fringe festivals (Edinburgh, Buxton, Guildford, Henley) and had plays performed in London and New York.
Where do we meet?
Mole Valley Scriptwriters is based in Mole Valley, Surrey, England. We meet in the evening at The Lincoln Arms (in the side room at the right of the pub), Dorking RH4 1TF.
Meetings are on the second Thursday of every month at 7.30pm (and tend to finish around 9pm).
If you are fed up with working alone and would welcome feedback, if you are a beginner uncertain where to start, whatever your ambitions, the group is here to support you and is looking for your support.
If you are interested in joining us or just finding out more, please email chairman@molevalleyscripts.co.uk.
Please note that while we usually meet at the Lincoln Arms, special events and other circumstances may mean we meet somewhere else. Members will be notified by email; newcomers should email chairman@molevalleyscripts.co.uk to confirm.
